Open Events

CCW will be organising three open events in 2010 over 10 miles and all on the Owermoigne course, P451.

The first event on Saturday 24th April will be our normal Spring time trial. Entries close on Tuesday 13th April.

The second and third events are on Saturday 25th September. In conjunction with our Athletes 10 we shall also be promoting an unrestricted 10. Entries for these events close on Tuesday 14th September and where possible riders wishing to take part in both events will be catered for. Any reference to these events being on course P459 are incorrect.

As usual there are special conditions covering rides in the Athletes event. Rules for this event are:

No low-profile bikes

No tri-bars or Spinaci type bars

All wheels to have a minimum of 16 spokes and a maximum rim depth of less than 28mm

No aero helmets or head fairings of any sort

No skinsuits or overshoes

There will be a rules official in attendance who will add one minute to finishing times for each ruling breach. In the case of wheels this will be per wheel.
